The Self Employment Trap!
It took me several years to realise that although being self-employed was great, it didn’t really always add up to the amazing deal it had once seemed. Certainly the ability to treat patients on my own terms and to take holidays whenever I wanted was a bonus.
Practice building with a little pack of butter
Recently I was on holiday, which is always dangerous as it gives me WAY too much time to think. I was sitting at breakfast and noticed something that I am sure I have used several hundred times before; the little pack of butter that comes with your croissant or toast (delete as appropriate).
