Lovely article, you have obviously learned a great deal since those heady days at the beer so. I'm in total agreement with you on the work life balance. I come across so many people in the healthcare industry who just want to make as much money as possible . The more money they make the more they want to continue building and building and they don't put any checks and balances in place. I think having a rounded approach if you can find that magic balance is the way to happiness. Quoting from a recent book I read,' the key to happiness is being content with what you have'. Best wishes Andre .

You're really brilliant sharing this excellent tips to get more patients. I find “authentic marketing” more personal so I think you will not just get new patients, but you'll also retain them. By the way, would you mind if I share a link here showing how to increase patients using text messaging?

That's a lovely piece of writing and very true. It's important to remember to enjoy the little things in life every day, no matter how small. Small can be delightful!

That's great Claire - i was going to catch you out with the twitter thing, but i like to be nice to my guests - or perhaps it slipped past me entirely unnoticed!
Anyway, it was a pleasure to speak to you and hope our paths cross again in the near future.
Take care

Hi Andre. Thank you so much for inviting me on to your podcast. I so enjoyed our conversation, but I'm mortified that I got a couple of dates WILDLY wrong...
The main one, of course, being my claim that I joined Twitter in 2005!!! Given that Twitter didn't start 'til 2006, that would be taking the concept of the 'early-adopter' to a whole new level. :) I actually joined Twitter in 2007 as @BlogAngel.

Incidentally, since we recorded this, I am tweeting again (Yay!), but under my real name, so http://twitter.com/ClaireRaikes

Anyway - just wanted to put the record straight on that and to say thank you again.

Trust all is wonderful with you.
Warmest
Claire

Thanks for a really interesting and relevant podcast! I am a fairly new start-up in the reflexology business and could identify with so much of that - difficulty getting clients, thinking about marketing, etc. It's tough when you start as you need some clients to bring in the money to be able to pay for some marketing, but you need the marketing to get the clients...a bit of a vicious circle! But the podcast gave some really useful tips that I can take away and use without spending too much. I shall have a look at Gill's book too.

Thanks again!
